Dipper Falls - original linocut print of a white-throated dipper

Dipper Falls is a handmade linocut print of a white-throated dipper. This is a multi-layer reduction linocut print based on my own photographs of a pair of local dippers I was lucky enough to watch raise their young.

Printed onto 145gsm Zerkall paper with oil-based ink. A sponge was used to apply ink to the rock so each print is unique! This is a limited edition of just 11 prints. Please note prints are unmounted and unframed.

Paper size - 53 x 38cm

Linocut is a form of relief printing where sharp tools are used to cut away areas of the lino block. The cut away regions stay white and the remaining block is printed. As prints are made individually by hand, please expect slight variation in detail and colour density, which makes every print unique.
