Grebes - original linocut print of great crested grebes

Grebes is a handmade linocut print of a great crested grebe and two chicks. Based on my own photographs as reference.

Printed onto gorgeous 36gsm Kitakata Green paper with oil-based ink. This is a multi-layer reduction print. This is a limited edition of just 16 prints.

Paper size - 40 x 33cm

Linocut is a form of relief printing where sharp tools are used to cut away areas of the lino block. The cut away regions stay white and the remaining block is printed. As prints are made individually by hand, please expect slight variation in detail and colour density, which makes every print unique.
