Lapwing Nest - colour linocut print of Lapwings

Lapwing Nest is a handmade linocut print of Northern Lapwings, based on my own photographs of adults and chicks at RSPB Loch Leven. This is a reduction print, printed onto gorgeous 51gsm Okawara Select paper, with oil-based ink. This is a limited edition of just 20 prints. Please note prints are unmounted and unframed. The final image is a mock up of how it might be mounted. I would suggest mounting it tall and thin, but have left the paper a little wider so buyers can decide how much to show.

Please note, there is also a black ink version of this print hand tinted with iridescent water colours - be sure to check out both before you decide!

Linocut is a form of relief printing where sharp tools are used to cut away areas of the lino block. The cut away regions stay white and the remaining block is printed.

As prints are made individually by hand, please expect slight variation in detail and colour density, which makes every print unique.
