Collection: Linocut Prints

Linocuts are a form of relief printing that are carved by hand out of a flat block of linoleum. The surface is then rolled with ink and they are printed by hand using either a traditional press or burnished with a wooden spoon or glass baren. To add colour, the lino is cut away and as each layer is printed and the next is carved, working from light to dark. This is known as a 'reduction print'. All prints are limited editions.
